Dubai, UAE – Dubai Chambers recently organised a specialised workshop exploring the practical applications of artificial intelligence in the legal field. The session was designed to raise awareness among the business community of the potential to leverage AI across legal services, risk management, and compliance.

Hosted at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters in collaboration with legal AI platform Qistas, law firm Pinsent Masons, and legal experts from e& UAE and Siemens Energy, the workshop reviewed a range of AI use cases currently available in business environments. These included contracts, legal research, advisory services, compliance, dispute resolution, and legal knowledge management.

The sessions highlighted the role of AI-powered solutions in improving the efficiency of access to legal support, enhancing consistency in processes, and improving the quality of decision-making. They also explored how the roles of in-house legal departments are expected to evolve as companies adopt these technologies.

The workshop examined practical frameworks for assessing the adoption of AI across legal functions, including considerations around developing solutions in-house versus using solutions available in the market. Discussions also addressed governance, accountability, security, and legal and operational risks.

The workshop forms part of Dubai Chambers’ efforts to provide the business community with practical knowledge that supports its ability to keep pace with digital transformation and adopt emerging technologies responsibly, helping to boost organisational efficiency, enhance service quality, and drive sustainable growth.

Legal events organised by Dubai Chambers focus on providing practical guidance and clear explanations of key legislative developments. They also give companies opportunities to engage directly with experts and specialists, discuss the legal challenges they face, and learn about best practices that can support their operations and mitigate legal and operational risks.

Dubai Chambers is continuing to strengthen its efforts to provide specialised knowledge platforms that offer access to reliable legal information and deepen the business community’s understanding of regulatory requirements. These efforts support companies in complying with legislation, enhancing their competitiveness, and contributing to the private sector’s role in advancing sustainable economic development in Dubai.
